ANP Awarded an Additional SBIR Phase III Contract to Further Develop its NIDS® ACE Sensor Platform for the US Army

Newark, DE (May 15, 2017) – ANP Technologies, Inc. has received an additional Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III funding from the U.S. Army for further development of its Advanced Smart Phone Device Reader (ASDR) which rapidly detects acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibiting compounds in water. Such inhibitors include pesticides, heavy metals, and nerve agents which can either cause severe health problems or lead to immediate death. Insuring the safety of drinking water is vitally important for soldiers on the battlefield. With this additional Phase III funding, the ANP team will be able to integrate further improvements and refine the current ASDR reader towards the goal of fielding the next generation ASDR-based handheld detection system for the U.S. Army.

Ray Yin, President and CEO of ANP Technologies, Inc. commented, “ANP continues to demonstrate its cutting-edge technology development capabilities, as well as its ability to turn ideas into real working products. This is what we are best at and we take pride in our ability to solve real world problems through simple and creative solutions.” stated Dr. Ray Yin, President of ANP. “This low-cost and easy-to-use test has many uses outside of its military component that can only be limited by the imagination”.
