ANP Launches First Commercial Pesticide Detection Product in High End Grocery Stores

Newark, DE (October 31, 2013) - ANP Technologies, Inc., a world leader in developing and commercializing various nano-biotechnology-based products has announced today that they have reached agreements with two local high end grocery stores, Janssen’s Market and Zingo’s Supermarket, to have their commercial rapid pesticide tests sold to consumers.

On Saturday, November 2nd, ANP will be demonstrating these products at Janssen’s Market at 3801 Kennett Pike, Greenville, DE from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There will be a host of ANP employees on hand to help with demonstrations.

“Due to the ongoing public concern about pesticide contamination in food and water sources, particularly for fresh produce, dry fruits, herbs and tea/coffee, ANP is seeking to help consumers by providing them a safe and easy way for them to test their purchases prior to consumption,” noted Dr. Ray Yin, founder of ANP Technologies.

Low level, but chronic exposure of organophosphate and carbamate based pesticides (similar to nerve agents) have shown to cause cancer, depression, and other diseases according to scientific studies. This technology was originally developed for nerve agent detection for the United States Armed Forces and has a very significant application in today’s consumer world given the high use of pesticides in our country’s food supply chain.
