Nano-Intelligent Detection Systems®

ANP has developed a Nano-Intelligent  Detection  System  (NIDS®) to identify and quantitatively analyze various biological agents and biomarkers.  The basis of the NIDS® technology is our ability to manipulate bioactive molecules at nanoscale using proprietary chemistry.  The NIDS® nanomanipulation techniques have resulted in assays with greatly increased sensitivity compared to conventional formats for Rapid Assays and ELISAs.

The NIDS® Handheld  Readers:

The NIDS® Automated Readers:

The NIDS® Automated Reader, as stand-alone device that can hold up to 125 individually sealed assays. The device is programmable and can be interfaced to a variety of sample collection devices for the autonomous monitoring of air more than one week without the need to change the consumable tickets. The NIDS® Automated Reader allows continuous analysis of assays without the need for human intervention.

 NIDS® Rapid Assay Systems

ANP has applied its NIDS® technology to produce rapid assays with up to 100 fold sensitivity enhancement over conventional lateral flow assays.  The NIDS® technology also enables the multiplexing of as many as 10 assays onto a single lateral flow test strip.

We also have developed an integrated system for quantitative and qualitative Rapid Assays for field use and Point of Care Testing (POCT) comprised of

Rapid, multiplexed assays

Handheld, wireless network-capable readers and fully-automated reader systems

Data reduction and data management software

NIDS® HyperBind ELISA plates

Using its proprietary NIDS® technology, ANP has developed the HyperBind line of precoated ELISA plates for use in product development, research, and high-throughput screening.  The performance of these plates greatly exceeds that of the best plates in the market today.

Nanoencapsulation

ANP’s nanoprotein delivery system can safely and cost-effectively deliver a variety of proteins through injection and inhalation methods. The technology is proven superior to the existing stealth liposome and biodegradable polymer technologies in the following ways:

  Cost

  Ease of formulation

  Long-term protein stability

  Blood circulation time

Sample Preconcentration System (SPS)

ANP has developed a water sample concentration system for the capture of pathogens at very low levels.  The concentrated samples can be analyzed by standard bioanalytical procedures including NIDS® rapid assays.

Rapidly and reliably concentrate biological contaminants from a variety of water sources

System is highly portable for use as a stand-alone or interfaced to large scale water
